Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority reigns supreme in its mission of “Service to All Mankind.” Given the engagement of more than 1,046 chapters across an international landscape, we have an ongoing history and reputation for making a global impact through local change.

We will celebrate excellence, promote a focus on service, and stimulate effective culture and showcase best practices—”Local Change, Big Impact, and Global Showcase.”

Areas of focus include…

• Celebrating Local Community Impact - This recognition program celebrates chapters that have made an exceptional impact in their local community.

• Chapter Collaboration Recognition Program - This recognition program acknowledges chapters that have collaborated to combine resources and efforts by maximizing the impact in their community.

• Local Community Service Grants - This grant opportunity is for notable local community service projects completed by an individual chapter or chapter collaboration.

Teen Ivy AKAdemy (TIA)

The Teen Ivy AKAdemy (TIA) is a Mentoring program exclusively for high school female students (grades 9-12), that places a focus on academic enrichment and life skills for the successful completion of high school.

Teen Ivy AKAdemy (TIA) helps with…

• Promote positive self-esteem

• Team building

• Career/College Exploration

• Community Service

• Personal and general enrichment (focus on life skills)

Expectations of all those that apply:

• Respect in all forms

• Actively RSVP activities

• Stay engaged

• Have fun!

The Prom Dress Giveaway is back!

Every young lady should have the opportunity to look and feel like a princess. Please consider donating to support the 2024 Prom Dress Giveaway hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Upsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter and Ladies of Vision Charities, Inc.. ALL items are free to attendees and donations are tax deductible.
